Robins career spans over 30 years in Sales and marketing working with some major blue-chip companies in the UK, Europe, and Asia.
Managing teams of target driven Sales Managers within the FMCG arena over the years he has developed a passion for true work ethics within this environment.
Robin over these last 8 years has focussed on developing the company’s strategy towards the UK Utility companies with a unique approach towards the customers journey on the Smart meter initiative and the Carbon reduction programme.
Robin had a passion for running and climbing completing Marathons, ultra runs and conquering Mont Blanc and Mount Kilimanjaro, a knee injury has brought this to a halt! He has now brought Gravel Cycling into his fitness regime to maintain his fitness!
Ruth
Commercial, Finance and Head of Company Compliance
Ruth has had many years working with the Energy Companies and has worked directly with most of them at some point in her career. Ruth has headed up projects working on the Energy Company Obligation, Renewable installations/funding and Local Authority Fuel Poverty Schemes. Ruth’s background and area of expertise is within the IT industry where after gaining her degree she worked with some leading blue-chip companies developing and supporting their IT Strategies, Managing IT professional and heading up major systems upgrades.
Within SMART 3 SOLUTIONS Ruth is part of the Senior Management and looks after the Company Finances, Human Resources and all Company Compliances required to work with the Energy Companies, Financial Planning, Developing and Managing the Companies Business Strategies are Ruth’s major strengths to the business.
Ruth enjoys travelling and keeping fit with some of her achievements include completing a triathlon, long distance cycle ride London to Paris and running a Marathon. It would be rude not to mention her love of horses and horse riding along with with skiing.
Anthony
Operations and Planning
Anthony currently covers all operations within Smart 3 and has over 25 years of experience planning large sales teams within the UK.
Born and raised in the North West of England, Anthony started his sales career demonstrating and selling musical instruments from Pianos to Brass instruments, for a local business in the northwest. Moving on after a short while, Anthony was a Business Manager within Pendragon PLC and then a General Manager with another major brand.
Anthony moved into the utility sector in 2010 and has managed teams of up to 200 people, ensuring that compliance was a main part of his strategy.
Anthony enjoys traveling, with some of his favourite places being Canada, Switzerland, and Iceland. He also enjoys playing Golf, albeit badly!
